Meet Dr. Robert Hunsaker with Austin Oral Surgery.

Dr. Robert Hunsaker is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon and a fellow in the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Hunsaker was raised on a farm in Southern Idaho. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Utah State University in 2003. He then decided to pursue a career in health care, and upon marrying his wife, Lyndsay, the couple moved to Richmond, Va., where Hunsaker received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2008. He enjoyed the management of complex treatment plans and decided to continue his training in oral surgery. Hunsaker was accepted into an integrated program at the University of Kentucky, where he received his Doctor of Medicine degree while completing an internship in general surgery and simultaneously completing his residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery in 2014. Hunsaker loves spending time with his wife and five children. He is often on the field for a sporting event, cheering on one of his children. Hunsaker practices at the Austin Oral Surgery location in Lakeway, Texas, and will soon practice at the new Pflugerville, Texas, location.
