Dr. Margaret Whitney is a gynecologist providing comprehensive health care to women of all ages at UT Health Austin’s Women’s Health Institute. Whitney completed her medical degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, her residency in OB- GYN at Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine and a fellowship in advanced pelvic surgery at Emory University School of Medicine. She values the role of education in the care of her patients. She has special expertise in the areas of vulvar disorders, such as vulvodynia and vulvar dermatoses, menopause and gynecologic surgery.
