Dr. Sheila Reddy received her bachelor’s degree in Honors and medical degree from Texas Tech University before completing her internal-medicine residency at the University of Texas School of Medicine in Houston. She then completed her fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of Texas at Houston and MD Anderson Cancer Center. She is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology.
Dr. Reddy treats the full spectrum of gastrointestinal illnesses. Her goal is to work with each patient and individualize their care using an integrative approach of medical treatment, diet and lifestyle changes. She has presented at multiple national conferences and co-authored publications in peer-reviewed journals. She has also written for and contributed to several articles at ABC News.
Dr. Reddy performs endoscopy at Austin Gastroenterology in South Austin and Lakeway for adult men and women. Additionally, she offers stool transplantation, capsule endoscopy and referrals for physical and biofeedback therapy. She will work with you to decide what the best therapeutic interventions and treatment plans are available to help you feel your best.
