Dr. Devin Garza has a special interest and extensive experience in advanced minimally invasive laparoscopy, with a special emphasis on da Vinci robotic surgery, having completed or instructed on more than 1,200 cases since 2006. He is privileged and honored to have the designation of da Vinci mentor/ epicenter surgeon by Intuitive Surgical Inc., and teaches robotic-surgery courses for surgeons at the advanced and masters level. Surgeons from throughout the U.S. and internationally visit and observe during cases while he performs surgery to learn the best practices of proficiency in surgical technique. He serves as clinical faculty at the University of Texas Dell Medical School department of women’s health. Dr. Garza also speaks nationally and internationally on robotic-surgery best practices and proctors and instructs surgeons locally and nationally. Da Vinci robotic surgery has been a major breakthrough in the minimally invasive treatment of fibroids, pelvic prolapse, reversal of tubal sterilization, pelvic pain, infertility and endometriosis. The benefit to patients is a shorter recovery time, less pain and lower surgical and post-operative risks of complications.

Dr. Garza was born in Corpus Christi, Texas. He and is wife, Catherine, married in 1988. They have four children: Devin, Logan, Meagan and Graceyn. They are partners at the Austin Stone Community Church. He is also a Christian recording artist and singer-songwriter.
